News, Events & Media
This year, the College has commenced a works program to upgrade and enhance our teaching and learning facilities which prepares the College for the long-term future.
As part of that process, the College will be renewing our sports facilities. This includes:
- Modifying the existing outdoor sports court – new artificial grass surface, seating, waterproof roof cover, landscaping and storage.
- New Indoor Sporting Facility – including demolition of an existing building and construction of a new building.
- New carpark – mostly below ground under the new building and enclosed for 20 cars which will require the demolition of the existing car park.
- Infrastructure upgrades – servicing the new building.
College Master Plan – update
Following the tender process at the end of 2023, the College appointed Stephen Edwards Construction for the renewing of our sports facilities, which are located close to our Woodbury Road neighbours. Work has commenced on this project and we anticipate it will be completed in September 2025. Work will be done on Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm and on Saturday mornings from 8am to 1pm.
The Contractor will be monitoring the noise levels and will be putting measures in place to reduce noise where possible. Noisy works will be limited to 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm Monday to Friday. There will not be noisy works on weekends or public holidays. Our aim is to minimise any potential impacts on both the operation of the school and also on our neighbours. Should you have any queries please feel free to contact us at: masterplan@brigidine.nsw.edu.au or you can contact Chris at Stephen Edwards Construction on 0430 179 087.
